THat is pretty expensive. Around here they cost about $5 each, and are usually imported as Corydoras reticulatus, a similar looking but somewhat rare species.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

If they're rare, you will have a big price tag with them.

Sheesh. I knew that plecos were super expensive down in Australia, but I thought Corydoras had more reasonable price tags. The C. sodalis here are five bucks each; wanna come over and pick some up?

Around here, only the common cories (bronze, albino, peppered) go for less than AU$6. Pygmy and Habrosus around $7. All the less common ones are at least $10-15. One LFS even quoted me almost $40 for c. Rabauti! (They didn't have it in stock, but could get it from a local importer)

Commons (albinos, peppered, panda, bronze) are around $3 each. Sterbai, julii, and some other uncommons are around $7-$15.
There are special rare ones only new for import are like $50+ each.

I saw some c. Gossei today at an LFS I've never been to, and they're $40 each (or 6 for $200 ). OTOH, at least they're not nearly as expensive as some of the BN's there (upward of $200)!

I got my (real) C. reticulatis for 2.50 each.

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

I got my pandas for $3
my bronze and peppered for $0.5
my gomezis for $15

Ps. I converted the currency so they are approx.

Here you pay for the name and not the fish
eg....you get discus for $9 but then halfblack angels (juveniles) go up to $17.5

Due to incompetence of the employment my LFS charges one price ($2.99) for all cories. Thus when false-juliis come into stock they sell out within the hour.
