Yup JessNick, you most likely have C. trilineatus. True julii cories have unconnected spots on their heads, instead of the random lines of the trilineatus cory. Still, they are very attractive fish.

My wife and I originally wanted either Julii Leopard or Panda cories for our newly started Angel tank. After we were told by our LFS they had both species, we went to go shop. Ofcourse they didn't have Pandas or Julii cories. They did have False Julii cories, which at the time we were told they were real Julii's (and didn't know any better). Although we had made up our minds we wanted to get the Pandas, in our hast we got the falsies. Well we went to a different LFS and low and behold...Pandas! We got a school of 6! and brought the falsies back to the other store, as we felt they were just not really healthy and didn't want to compromise our newly redesigned tank with any problems. What great little catfish, and they look great with our new black gravel! Just wanted to share, I can see why these catfish are so popular.

Wow! I feel like such an amature with only one school - albino cories. There are 10 adults, but there are eggs now, so there might be more soon....

I currently have a M/F pair of pandas, six pygmaeus, and five trilineatus. In the past I also kept paleatus.

Currently, I only have the Pandas, but in the past I've kept pygmaeus, habrosus, julii/trilineatus (the argument over which still rages!) and bolivianus (which were sold to me as agassizii despite looking nothing like the true agassizii ...).

Someday I want to try the habrosus and pygmaeus again, and try breeding them. I'd also like a shot at hastatus, and Cory_Addict has made me really badly *want* a shoal of duplicareus !!!

Please exscuse the dirty tank, the blurriness, and that ugly gravel color but you get the idea. I only have that one (don't yell at me!!!) but I'll be getting 9 more as they become available.

I used to keep albinos.

I have just recently kept 5 emerald green cories...very nice hardy fish that did an awesome job on keeping my tank clean. I have adopted them out to a friend because my wife and I are setting our tanks up for Angels. We seem to be having trouble locating the specific cories we want though, and were wondering if anyone can refer us to a mail order site were Panda or Julii Leopard Cories could be obtained without getting killed on shipping charges. We have changed our gravel to black and a mostly white cory w/some black is ideal for what we want (Pandas are our wish). Thanks in advance.

Careful, Books...

You mix that many Cory species together you're going to have fry that look like bulldogs.
