I was feeding my fish and so my cories came out of their hiding spot to get some food. Well I put my food back into the stand and the cories get frightened like they always do when I am watching them or make a slight movement. But this time a few of them went crazy and brushed along the side of the tank pushing gravel against the glass. Now this is where it just gets weird :%). One of them darted into the driftwood and got himself stuck in a whole in the driftwood :%):%). Luckily I was quick to react and freed him by shaking the driftwood and freeing him :%). |

Luckily you noticed the Corydoras stuck & it's better to fix that hole with something, as it might get stuck again. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

Or pick and mess with the hole till it is larger so that they can swim in and out easily. I know there have been times I thought one of my guys was stuck, but in actuality they were just hiding really well, and could get out easy enough on their own. heidi "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom." The hole part of the driftwood is on the bottom now so now problems. |
