Decorated Synodontis with smaller fish | |
Goh Big Fish Posts: 368 Kudos: 23 Votes: 1 Registered: 30-Jul-2000 | Hi, was just wondering if Decorated Synodontis eat smaller fish, such as neons. i was wanting to add some neons or other small tetras to my tank but am afraid that my Decorated Synodontis will eat them? i've read that they can be kept with larger tetras? |

On the other hand, I usually do not trust large fish with fish that could possibly fit in their mouths. That said, I have a ~4" S. decorus hybrid (increasingly common nowadays) that is with a guppy and small corys and have not lost any due to predation. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |
