Because I cannot seem to find any orange spot bn pics and my commons have spots as well. Can anyone help me out? Regards Mango |

Could it be that you are referring to the orange spot Panaque? That is the only pleco I know of with "orange spot" in its name. I know what you mean with the spots, though. I've seen many BN and common plecos with little spots, though it isn't because they are a different species. Rather, there are many varieties of common pleco/BN, and you may have just stumbled onto a spotted one. |

An L number would be nice. Best I can tell, you're probably looking for something smilar to what cory posted-there are several species with similar markings. |

They are L071, L110, and L255 respectively. My starlight bristlenose is L182.
