about a month ago I went out & bought 5 Dario Loaches. 1 died a week later leaving me with obviously 4. However apon further review I think I may have 2 Dario Loaches & 2 Burmese. the 2 I think are Dario's look xactly like the photo in the profiles, straight bands running across the entire body and are a bit larger. The other two are smaller with a brighter yellow and they each have one band in particular near the center of its body that splits. Other than that they look alot alike, but I have my suspicion that they are not the same.

From your description, my best guess is the 2 in question are [link=burmese/gold zebra loaches]http://fishprofiles.com/files/profiles/burmeseloach.xml" style="COLOR: #FF82AB[/link]. As you said, they're smaller, have more of a yellow tint, and have a band near their middle that splits.
