Unfortunately, the stocking of your tank needs some work. Oscars, well dont be surprised it it decides one day it doesnt like your corys and eats them The oscar is not a suitable match with the other tankmates except the Trinidad Pleco. Bala Sharks grow to 12-14 inches as well, and really need to be kept in a 300G tank. If you remove the Bala Sharks and the Oscar, then you could give the corys a proper school of 6, and you could add a couple of Dojo Loaches. I had a rainbow shark in my 90g along with other fish... syno's, watermelon royal plec, huge severums, firmouth cichlid, skunk loaches etc... Once the rainbow shark got to be around 3 inches long, he became the terror of the tank... picking on everyone that was trying to eat durning feeding time. This probably affected dojo the most. Once the rainbow shark became aggressive... dojo would not come out of the gravel near as much to eat and I became greatly concerned on whether or not he was eating enough... besides the fact that I love the cute little behaviors of the dojo species. I ended up giving away the rainbow shark.. and now dojo is back out all the time... and all is well with the world again... ![]() |

Dojos, like most other loach species are strongly social and hate being alone. You should get your dojo a friend. Mine are inseperable- even cory schooling behaviour doesnt come close.
