About two months ago i got two BN's. At the time they were both the smae size and colour. Now one has grown by 2-2.5cm and is a darker brown, while the other has gone light brown and has stayed the same colour. I also noticed that when the smaller one is near food or the larger one it is quickly scared away. Is it normal for bn's to be a bit aggressive or have i got a male and a female?
Also, should i vary the place in which i put their food, because they are always at one end of the tank.
thanks,

Most plecos are very territorial, so squabbling
is nothing out of the ordinary, even in big tanks
with plenty of space.
My bristlenose always picks fights with my inspector
pleco, but never wins, poor macho fella
