hey eveyrone one as you may or may not know i happen to love raphael catfish. but i dont know many species of the family. anyways i just wanted to know if anyone had a favourite of the family Doradidae? for right now my favorites are striped rapahels but hey as i learn more that might change. anyways love to hear from you guys!

Oh my, that reminds me, I should probably consider a doradid in stocking a catfish-themed tank. As I glanced through some different doradids on PlanetCatfish's Cat-eLog, I found a lot of them seem to be pretty fascinating fish. So I can't really decide so easily! I have to say that most people will probably think either Raphael, Spotted Raphael, or perhaps even the Black Doradid (Oxydoras niger) due to these fish being more common in the hobby. There aren't many more doradids you see around.

catfish...themed....tank............ awsome! lol. yes you dhould def. add one into it! of course im a little bias cause they aremy fav. but still i think they are great fish! and hey best of luck with the catfish themed tank id love to hear your plans for it!
