I have 3 yoyos, 1 queen, and 1 polka dot, and 3 dojos.
I am waiting on some queens i ordered in, to up to 3, and am on the hunt for more polka dots.
I love plecos and corys too, but botia are the best!

Cories are cool, but I've definitely got pleco fever.

Im a cory addict, I love those little guys!!
Currently i have
6 emrald
3 rust
3 peppered
1 bronze

Im working on proper schools, I just cant leave a lone cory in the lfs, which recomend them for tiny tanks, alone..... so i bring them home, where they atleast have other cories and lots of room to play. All cories here come assorted- one of this and 2 of that, so its taking a while to fill out the schools.I'm planning on a 30 gal long tank just for the little guys - im not far from needing it.

It would have to be corys, though I do like my BN. Just love the way my hasbrosus flit around the tank.

Defo have to go with Botias on this one. I have 2 Red Tail Botias and 3 Green Tiger Botias.

Question, how does a Botia differ from a Loach?

Okay, we all want them, we love them, and fools like me even overstock them

Here is my question - What is your favourite Bottom Feeder and how bad is your obsession with them. My favourites are loaches and I have the following

18 Clown Loaches
9 Zebra Loaches (Botia Striata
5 Kuhli Loaches
3 Skunk Loaches

And I have also kept a school of yoyo loaches, but they were nipping my angel too much, so had to give them back.

I want to know if you are a Loach fan, a Cory fan, or a Pleco fan, or maybe, you have other bottom feeder obsessions :%):%)

Cories all the way for me! I've been obsessed with them ever since I got my first ones about 3 months ago. So much so that I got 2 more tanks just so I can get more cory varieties and stalking local LFS's every weekend for rare cories! My wife thinks I'm . I just think they have more personality than all the other fishes I've kept combined. I now have in my 2 tanks:
3 c. Paleatus
4 c. Trilineatus
4 c. metae
11 c. Hastatus
2 c. Habrosus

As soon as my 3rd tank is set up, I'm getting more (c. Caudimaculatus, c. Adolfoi, c. Arcuatus, just to name a few).

I didn't have any feelings for bottom feeders until I got my 125...I mean when I was little I used to love "my" khuli loaches my mom had in her tanks, but other than that, ah heck it's just a pleco, he'll destroy the tank, get too big, but he does a good clean up on the algae

But, nowwell everyone knows I'm obsessed with corries:%)I admit it, I love them all, but I guess, no I can't choose a favorite of them, but I'll list what I can count

6 Schwartzi
10-12 Habrosus (you count them they are too fast to keep up with in a 125:%))
7 Albino Corries
1 Skunk Cory
7 Green Aneus
8 Adult metae
??? fry/juvenile metae (same thing as habrosus, you try finding them and counting them all at one time:%))
and somebody I hate to admit that I can't think of:#( (I'm always missing one, but it's always a different one)

4 Clown Loaches
5 Khuli Loaches
2 Albino BN

OK I need to take a look at the tanks, I'm not sure who the heck I'm missing, but I'm bound to be missing someone, just can't think of who:%)heidi

My bn is a female so not sprouts on the snout. Would love to get another one but heard as they get bigger they can get territorial. I am very cautious about stocking. Maybe I am too conservative. I have a 4ft tank and my bn is only about 2.5inches. Reckon I could swing it?

Synodontis eupterus!!!!!!!! Way too cool cat! AKA a feather fin. I also have a thing for loaches but don't have any right now. I seem to have bad luck with them.... and just don't have the cash right now....

Wish-ga,
I think you could definitely swing another BN in there. I have two common pecos one 12 inches, and one 8 inches in a 6 foot tank and they do fine. They chase each other around sometimes but thats it, nothing harmful.

hca - I do the exact same thing. I call my cories the 'motley cory crew' because they're all mixed together.

I've got the original four trilineatus, one agassizii, one ambiacus (who likes to change colors to look like the agassizii), one 'san juan', one panda (left over from a total of eight ) and one mellini who hangs out with the panda. I think I got everyone...

I also love plecos. In the future, I'd love to upgrade my current 20 long and move my main community to that, then set up the 20 as a (hopeful) breeding tank for a pair of queen arabesque or some other small pleco. Would be fun.

How could you make me choose I love my yoyo loaches antics but the pandas and my still unided cories are so cute. Then there's the big royal pleco who's fun to watch when he comes out and the little leopard plecos with their dark orange stripes. They are almost cute and definitely get people's attention seeing an orange pleco.

For me it has to be corydoras, I love them all. My favourites are pandas and jullis. I like metae and habrosus. Well I like them all but those are a few of my favourites.
