I have lost a couple of dw gourami and I suspect the featherfins tickle them from underneath when they are sleeping and they torpedo into the glass in fright. The other night one FF was trying to shoulder the clown loach out of her favourite log. Nothing doing, and she held the log until the FF eventually got tired of it and went back to his friends in the shipwreck. |

Eupterus cats will often try to defend agains bottom feeders IF they are not a lot of hiding places in the tank. Providing more caves for the eupterus and the plec to choose from may reduce aggression. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |

You might just have a really aggressive fish. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |

Does the fighting occur around just one cave? In one of my tanks, my featherfin doesn't chase/annoy any catfish as long as they don't come in, or get within a inch or so of 'his/her' pipe. -------------------------- Billy was a scientist, Billy is no more.
