Ok I just bought 2 DOJO Loaches and I'm not sure they are getting enough food the bogger of the two is out and about and on occasions is looking for food by picking at the rocks. I feed my fish twice a day but I'm not sure enough flakes are getting to the bottom of the tank after the top feeders get to them I also put Alge waffers in the tank and they seem to like those. How often should I be feeding the fish and when should I feed them. Also I have 2 otto's and a Pleco they seem to be doing just fine but do I really need to grow alge for them?

Feed your Oto's & Pleco some sinking Algae Pellets & you can feed them as soon as you put the tank lights off.

Just by looking at the title I knew you were trying to feed flakes. Hehe, that's why they make sinking pellets in the first place...

I feed all my bottom feeders daily.

In nature, dojo loaches are constantly on the prowl for food items, which include tubifex and daphnia-type items.

They are carnivores and are more susceptible to disease when fed foods that do not provide that proper percentages of protein and fibers....

Get them some FD tubifex worms and try to find some Sinking Carnivore Pellets. Feed them those twice per day.

Feed weather loaches 2-3 times a day with meaty foods. Sadly, algae wafers as a staple will lead them to an early death. In the wild, they consume no plant matter whatsoever.
