![]() | Feeding Corys |

Should you simply throw a few in or should you break them up first? They seem too big for one fish, but only one fish can really get at them at one time..... |

If the dinner for that day is just hikari wafers, then i'd give 2. But lets say i combine the wafers with some frozen bloodworms, then i'd only give 1 wafer, but split into half so other fish (like my L129) and corys have access to them. |

How many Corydoras do you have?. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.deathbydyeing.org/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

To make sure everyone gets a share,I use a piece of spare undergravel uplift tube to place them around the aquarium. Oh, and when the Hikari wafers go in, the Pandas start playing 'push hockey' with the pieces, competing with the Otocinclus for the titbits ... but that's because as well as spirulina algae, they have fish and krill meal in the mix. Hence the display of utter lunacy on the part of my Pandas when I put them in ![]() ![]() |

My 6 corys don't care much for the alge but love the sinking wafer (which is supposed to be for catfish and loaches). Since I also have 5 kuhlis I drop 1 wafer at each end of the tank at lights out. Tetra also makes a tablet for bottom feeders called TetraMin tropical tablets, the fish like these to. Last edited by lowlight at 20-Apr-2005 00:47 |
