	Fire Eel
garbutt_dave Enthusiast Posts: 223 Kudos: 89 Votes: 0 Registered: 04-Jun-2003	I bought a fire eel the other day and I am wondering how to feed him. He is too small to have live fish at the moment. So how can i feed him? all my frozen food floats and he is too scared to be hand fed at the moment. Thanks in Advance, David.

All of the above are good options, but if he just won't accept it, try either buying livebearer fry or pierce just a tiny bit of the desired food with a piece of fishing string and dangle it in front of his face---he should jump right on it.

Toirtis Mega Fish Posts: 1260 Kudos: 529 Votes: 6 Registered: 24-Feb-2003	Chopped earthworms are all my spiny eels' faves. Yes, you can keep a spiny eel with a BGK, but I wuld stick to one of the smaller spinys, like a tyretrack or peacock.
