garbutt_dave![]() ![]() ![]() Enthusiast Posts: 223 Kudos: 89 Votes: 0 Registered: 04-Jun-2003 ![]() ![]() | I bought a fire eel the other day and I am wondering how to feed him. He is too small to have live fish at the moment. So how can i feed him? all my frozen food floats and he is too scared to be hand fed at the moment. Thanks in Advance, David. |

All of the above are good options, but if he just won't accept it, try either buying livebearer fry or pierce just a tiny bit of the desired food with a piece of fishing string and dangle it in front of his face---he should jump right on it. |

Yes, you can keep a spiny eel with a BGK, but I wuld stick to one of the smaller spinys, like a tyretrack or peacock. |

The largest aquarium raised eels probably only reach the stated 2 feet. |
