My LFS has Gold Nugget Plecos for $7.00! I thought that was a great price & wanted to know if anyone has any experience with adding them with other types of plecos?

I have a rubbermouth pleco & a regular pleco which so far a fine together in my 72 gal. Thanks for your input!

common plecos get huge and will out grow that tank. also they can get territorial but i think this is restricted to other commons. the gold nugget will be tiny against a close to full sized common. i think you got enough plecos on the bottom, another would be to much IMO.

Safe? Yes. Tolerant? No. Anything smaller than itself will be ungraciously chased out of it's territory, but nothing serious.
