Because they were on special for $20 each for 6cm! They are usually about $50 for that size around my area. They are with my albino bn in my planted tank. Seems to love the plants and driftwood, so i guess they are ok. Any special requirements for them? Steve ![]() |

I believe "chocolate" plecos are called golds sometimes ![]() ![]() Can you get the L number for the species in question? |

They're much more expensive than gold nuggets, so I'm thinking not. Probably a gold nugget, but common names aren't great pleco identifiers. |
