I just picked up four corys from the lfs. They seem to be doin pretty good.Whats some good food that I could get for them. Do they eat algae off the glass? Should I buy some algae wafers. Any help welcome

While cories will not eat algae, they do enjoy algae wafers. However, regular sinking wafers or pellets (for omnivores) would probably be better. Flake food is good for regular feeding, with wafers/pellets, freeze-dried, and live food as treats. Cories will eat just about anything.

I keep my cories in a tank with a ton of top dwelling schooling fish, so the flake food rarely gets down to them. I make sure they get food by giving them Wardley's shrimp pellets.

Another good meal for them would be frozen bloodworms. Be sure to cut them up if your corys are small so they don't choke on them. If they are adult size you shouldn't have to cut them up.

I feed mine a variety that includes: spirulina sticks, earthworm sticks, shrimp sticks, frozen bloodworms, frozen mysis shrimp, live whiteworms, and bits of very ripe (or blanched) fruits and vegetables.

I feed frozen bloodworms, frozen brine shrimp, Hikari sinking pellets, sliced banana (the pandas LOVE it!), raw shrimp/prawns occasionally, Omni One colour enhancing flake with salmon, other veggies, etc. Corys will really eat almost anything you throw in there. If you want to keep them in top shape or are hoping to breed them you'll want to feed some sort of live or frozen food.
