![]() | Got Clowns again, and 1 ID needed |

Was at a LFS and found 3-3.5" clowns. They threw in a 4th 2" for free(last 1 remaining). I got rid of 2 fish and need to find a home for my third Angel(as the other 2 may have paired, really nippin at him). Kinda freaked yesterday as they were "fighting", but I now believe they were just "ranking" themselves as the largest was almost "blacked" out. Colors are perfect today, and man they are fun to watch. Question on ID: Bought rosey reds to feed my polyepterous ornate and senegal and had too many so I threw about 6 in the 55 for 2 days. Angels must have gotten 1 or 2 and as I was pullin out the rest I noticed 1 that didn't look like a rosey. What's this? Looks just like a RTBS, but it is deep blue or almost black with white fins? Any ideas on what this fish might be? Cant find any info on it- just black shark- which it is not. OOOHHHH and I did acclimate the clowns for an hour. Float 10 mins, dump half their water and add 1-2 cups of tank water in bag every 15 mins then added to tank 60 mins after initial float. Thanx Garyroland from the info from my last post, as my PH is high. Did change my Whisper 30/60 for a Fluval 404 about 3 weeks ago(still have Penguin 330 also) and am debating running peat in that tank. 55 stands at 3 Angels, 4 Clowns, 1 Royal plec, 1 albino Gibby(for my 120), and a L-264 plec, and the unidentified "shark-minnow". Any responses appreciated. Thanx |

He kinda hangs aroud plants nippin off of them(food not the plants). I do not see him swim too much(across the tank). Got a digi cam and yahoo photos, but not sure how to post them(very Comp illiterate). Have to see if I can get a good shot of him and I'll try to figure it out. |
