Can i fit 5 of them in a 3 gal?

No they would need atleast a 10g if not prefferably a 20g. The only "bottom feeders" you could have in there would be a ADF or shrimp.

I wouldn't do it in a small tank. IMO as 3gal. is too small for a school of small Corydoras.

As to whether you should do it? NO!!! Please don't do that, please

These little Dainty Corries are very, very, very delicate...and the water parameters as good as you think they might be, and as stable as you think they might be, just are not stable enough for the Dainties to survive and thrive as they would in a larger tank.

Do yourself and the little guys and gals a favor, get yourself a 20 gallon tank, and then you can get 10-15 of them (if that is all you want in the tank) and then by all means please give them a nice airstone to play in...they will love you for it, and you will probably end up on the floor you will be laughing so hard at their silly antics...
