so unfortunately, i just found out that what was sold to me as Schwartz corys are actually leucomelas,] so i am now in a complete mess. I have 2 schwartz, i unknown, 3 leucomelas, and 3 trillineatus. I have a 10 gallon waiting to be set up for an all cory tank that i was going to get Panda's for. But, should i pick a group of the corys i have, put them in the 10 and fill them out, take them all back and trade them(which i dont really wanna do) or maybe take some of them back and see if i can trade them for ones to fill out my shoals? I was really looking forward to my pandas, but im not going out and getting more, when my other may not be happy!.. any ideas?

Don't worry about it too much. Fish cannot hide their emotions... If they look happy then they are indeed happy. C. schwartzi and C. leucomelas are two closely-related, similar-looking species, so don't be too concerned if you have "inappropriate" numbers of each species.

If you feel strongly about it, though, just bring one of the species back to the LFS and trade it for the other. There's certainly no need to give up on your pandas just because you think you have to fill out the numbers of your C. schwartzi and C. leucomelas.

THanks!! They do appear to be happy, but then again im not sure i could tell if they werent? Well my lfs just got 8 pandas in today and they are on hold for me! So maybe ill go and get them sometime soon!!

And i am going to go and inform my lfs about there corys! They have jullis marked as schwartzi,etc.....maybe they will fix it when i tell them!
