Looks like one of my cories are breeding. I've got about 10 eggs on a silk plant and about 20 more stuck to the glass. What do I do so they'll have a chance of survival? I've got a little 2.5 gal tank that I can move the silk plant into, but does it need heat? Any what to do next?

Yes, by all means seperate the eggs from the parents (the ones on the glass can easily and safely be removed after a couple of hours).

Check out this site for all you could possibly want to know about hatching and rearing the fry:

Thanks, still reading, I did move the silk plant into the 2.5 gl with water from the main tank and added a heater (76 degrees). Still trying to figure out how to get the eggs off the glass.

Use a fine plastic film such as a card cover, or a credit card.

Thanks. They are still laying eggs,so I'm going to wait a few hours and then scrape the glass and put the eggs in one of the nets I have and just float it at the top of the big tank until I can get a breeders net tomorrow. Then I'll have eggs in the big tank and the little one and maybe one or the other groups of eggs will hatch.
