Well, I stopped at my fav LFS today and found not only another two panda cories, but a lonely cory. Of course, I snapped them all up. So... Kanga and Roo joined the 100 acre gang...

My lonely cory was noted as an Agazzi (assuming it's a misspelling of Agassizii), but he looks different from my other Agassizii. Here's my original guy - Daddy - on the right in this picture...


The guy I picked up today looks rather similar, but has some slightly different markings.


His head is darker (this is just after putting him in the tank, so he has yet to color up) than Daddy's, his spots seem a bit darker and bolder. And his dorsil marking is a bit different. Daddy's got more of a spot near the front of the dorsil (the front ray or so is white) while the new guy, Izzy, has a black splotch covering the entire front of the dorsil, including the first rays.

He's a cutie, and since the picture of Daddy is older, you can't tell that he's now about 1.5 - 2 times the size of his triline buddies. Izzy is about half the size of Daddy. [/font][/font][/font][/font]

now your new little guy to the best of my looking keep in mind my blood pressure is messing me up quite a bit right now looks to be a Corydoras ambiacus

info I have (not much really) before also C. grafi + mel. longiros Synonym: grafi; melanistius longirostris. 4.5-6 cm. from Peru: Edo. Loreto, Rio Ampiyacu+Yavari; Ecuador: Rio Napo-system...(Aqualog--All Corydoras) Like I said my best guess...from matching pictures, and especially if there the spots on it's face under it's mask....hope it helps heidi

Well, Kanga and Izzy are doing well... Roo is doing okay, but seems to be breathing a bit quickly. I hope he's okay... however, they all seem to be active and settling in. Izzy is hanging around Daddy (yay! I was hoping their patterns would be close enough that they'd stick together) and all the pandas seem to be hanging out together. I'm happy so far... hoping they all continue to be happy and healthy.
