Great news, yesterday about 7 of approx. 50 eggs hatched and the fry are so cute. I'll keep you updated but I plan on feeding the first meal in 2 days.

One thing that worked for me was, i scraped the eggs of the glass with a razor blade, and put them in a breeding net. Ive only had mine for a few days, and they havent been able to get the food.

if they are still eggs i would increase the current, it jeeps them from going bad, i leave the bubbler on for a few days, take it out for about an hour, some hatch, wait a few hours for others to hatch, then put it back in, and do the same, and more hatch

Glad to hear all the great news with your guy's fish. I might convert to a small sponge filter instead of a corner one because the corys will apparently like eating the dead microworms and such that accumulate on the outside of the sponge whereas with a corner filter they can't do that. Any ideas would be great.

Don't expose the eggs to the air, as they will become fungused. Just always keep them in the water. I'm passing from the same "problem" as you are. My Bronze Corydoras have breeded & layed eggs & now i'm waiting for them to hatch.

I came home today to find my bronze corys in the middle of mating. Theres already patches of eggs under the filter flow and on the glass around the aquarium and they're still goin at it. I was thinking of moving the eggs either tommorow or friday to a 10gal. and once they hatch and eat their yolk sac, I'll feed them microworms, vinegar eels and BBS. I'll use a small corner filter that I used while breeding my bettas and I'll turn it on so it's barely bubbling. I was thinking of filling the tank up all the way then using a trickle change system I invented as to not disturb the water. 10% changes per day. The tank will of course be bare but I do have some Hornwort I could put in there if that'd be a good idea? How's my plan sound and any suggestions or changes would be nice as this is my first time rearing bronze corys.

Alright, one more thing is that it'll take 1/3 of my water from my 30 gal. (where I got the eggs from) to fill my 10 gal. I have healthy water with a P.H. of 6.5 and has been stable for a while. Will it greatly affect my water to take 1/3 of it like that? Thanks again.

You can use a credit card to remove them, and make sure not to expose them to air.
Congratulations & good luck with them

i havent heard of the 24 hour rule, but i bet in 24 hours you wont have many if any eggs left, i found my cory eggs approx 12 hours after they were lain, and i had only 10 left!
although i got some fresh cory eggs from walamrt, and i managed to get about 40, still waiting for them to hatch

Yea I read to only remove the eggs after 24hours as they're too fragile to do so earlier. How true is this? Also is it a good idea to put hornwort in the grow out tank or not? thanks for all your help!

first off, i would remove the eggs ASAP! the other fish in the tank can and most likely will eat the eggs, but your fry tank plans sound great!
