 | Horsefaced Loaches At My LFS! |
Calilasseia    *Ultimate Fish Guru* Panda Funster Posts: 5496 Kudos: 2828 Votes: 731 Registered: 10-Feb-2003   | When I picked up the live food for the Pandas today, there was a surprise in one of the aquaria at my LFS. Horsefaced Loaches. Which I know as Acanthopsis chiororhynchus. And, they're only £2.25 each too. Only trouble is they grow big. As in around 10 inches. Which means they're sadly not a candidate for the Panda Fun Palace™ as yet. But, give me time ... Oh, and the ones I saw had the 'bend' in the nose that makes them true Horsefaces. Funny to see them with the head poking out of the substrate when they burrow in it! Now I want the mooseface loach I saw at the LFS..cool looking guy! |
