Hey folks,

I am converting a 29 gallon tank into a species only tank which would contain just sterbai cories. I'm hoping I can get them to breed. It will have a sand substrate.
The only other fish I might add (most likely not as this tank doesn't get much natural light) would be a couple ottos if algae becomes a problem.

How many sterbais would be a good amount?

Ten is a good amount, but you could easily add some more, depending on how many fish you want, and whether the tank is long or tall. Good luck with your sterbai cories!

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."
