I would say as many as 10, if you feed lightly, are diligent with the water changes, filter well (rinse your filters anytime you do a water change!), and regularly supplement your biofilter (NICycle). They like a thicket of that in my aquarium and higher parts of the tank are in better use for your fish. More than 3 and no more than 10 seems to be good number. ![]() |
