I'd say about 24 of a Pygmy species (habrosus, pygmaeus), close to 20 of a small species (panda, etc), and about 15 of a "normal" species (aeneas, arcuatus, rabauti). With, of course, a good water change schedule and a close eye on parameters and so on. -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com!

What I would do first, is to bring up your tetra 'schools' to six apiece. Then, I would go for six of the smaller cories, because then the tank would be fairly well stocked. Tetras do not produce much waste, so you could get away with the three schools of fish. And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."
