300-350 is considered relatively cheap for an adult. Pairs go past 600 bucks, 1200 if proven. Inchlings are approximately 175-250 dollars. They will not likely subsist well with a far more aggressive and quite a ways larger L-18.

yep, i think it a kinda new pleco, and not commonly breed in mass numbers.

it's not really a new pleco, but it is one of the most highly sought after. also I believe restrictions have been placed on the collection of these fish because their numbers in the wild have dramatically decreased.
