Really large eyespots. The rest of the body is a plain silverish black. Please ID this fish for me. |

He doesnt have a camera, and therefore no picture. He says it looks like a shark cat, but has an eyespot on its gills on either side of the body, and no other spots on the rest of the body. |

Reproduction: oviparous. pH: acid to neutral (6.0 to 7.0). Temperature: 23 to 28ºC. Aquarium: medium-sized to large with rocks and plants. Feeding: alcon BASIC, alcon Tubifex F.D., alcon Gold Spirulina Flakes. Behavior: peaceful and close-knit. |
