I went to the lfs and i bought a Feather-fin catfish
It's really small(baby)2cm long.At the lfs they sold it under the name of upsidedown catfish...
I will post pics of him when he has settled him self down..he is swiming all over the place,he likes to swim with the corydoras...and the cories doesn't seem to be bothered at all

I know human beings and fish can co-exist peacefully.

Feather-fin catfish(Synodontis Eupterus) are very nice. My dad has a full grown 6 in. one. They grow fast. make sure and feed him plenty. He should also have plenty of holes and caves to hide in.

Are you sure you got a feather fin catfish (Synodontis Eupterus)?

Most catfish sold under the name upside down catfish are the Synodontis nigriventris.

Check out these links to makes sure:

i'm pretty sure it would be a featherfin. was he fairly expensive? if he was it'll be a USD, unless the LFS don't know their catfish

At 2cm long, a S. eupterus would look like [link=this]http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/mochokid/synodont/121_12.php" style="COLOR: #FFFFFF[/link]. They are not confused with any other commonly available species.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

I've got 2 of these fish in my 120. One is a juvenile who is about 3" long and fairly thin, the other is a fully grown adult who is about 6 - 7" long and very thick.

These are really interesting fish. Lots of personality. My adult seems to be on the go quite a bit. Very cool fish. Congrats
