 | I caught one of my Oto's sucking on my Jullii Cory!! |
fishygirl68 Hobbyist Posts: 97 Votes: 0 Registered: 07-Jul-2004   | I just put 2 oto's in my tank about a week ago, they've done a great job with the algae, but yesterday I caught one of them sucking on my Jullii cory! Is this normal? OR should I send the oto back to the lfs? I really like my cory cats, I don't want the oto's hurting them... |

Otos, as far as I know, are not known to suck other fish!! Plecos are sometimes known to do so, and CAE are really known for this. Another thing, if the oto was really sucking on the julii, wouldn't the julii swim off real fast to get it off? |

Some sucker-type fish do have a habit of liking the slimecoats of other fish. Whenever you see this happen, immediately take that fish back b/c he'll end up killing the other fish...
