120g? i disagree, they grow to about the length of an oscar. about 16 inches. i keep mine in a 75g tank. hes about 5-6 inches long now. they dont intentionally destroy plants but bump into them when they get larger. sometines up rooting them from crashing into them. they wont eat plants either but may strip a leaf while suckign algae off of it. will gladly accept algae wafers 30 mins after lights out. They produce LOADS of waste so good filtration is needed. They arnt agressive but wont be pushed around either. sometimes they get territorial about thier cave but usually just rush tresspassers to scare them out. not very active in the day but might see it once in a while.

hmm most i can think of right now hope this helps.the biggest downfalls are size, nocturnal, and so much waste.

Yep, they are very beautiful plecos, especially among the Hypostomus-group.

Unfortunately, their care is the same as a common pleco's, only they don't grow quite was big. This species requires a tank of about 120 gallons to be comfortable when full grown.
