Not positive about the gouramis as I've never kept them...if it were me, I'd go ahead and the the corries and wait for the gouramis if necessaryThey really are worth the fun and adventure, but be warnedthey are quite addictive

And I ment to ask earlier are you in the Houston area Peter? If so what part of the Houston area? I'm in Southeast portion, kind of

Peter, I don't know about cories and gouramis...might depend on the individual gourami and species involved. Don't know if that lfs has false julis, but Fish Ranch in Houston does. Marked Julis though.

sounds like a plan to me
I'll tell Leslie, she game and ready to go somewhere new

And I know the feeling about finding new lfss to take off some of the excess...I'm still interested in getting some convicts or terrors, but right now have no idea whenthough the deleeching/catching of insane bottom feeders is highly in process and I am going to definately trust the 55 now

I'll give you a call tomorrow or friday, or you can call meeither way

ROAD TRIP!!!!

Uh I don't remember the name it's down off of hwy 3 and just before El Dorado...and is listed mail wise as being in Webster...

It's a very small lfs, but he has stuff crammed in there everywhich way, and has some interesting stuff to boot

If you end up coming down this way let me know I can show you where it is easier than saying this is the address, because it really is in a weird place

The owner is the president of the Houston Aquarium Society (did I mess up that name well enough?) And happily buys from local breeders, etc...

And I don't think I want Mollies, my experience with them is that they are suicidal, though once I am through with all this mess with the 125 I might think about a green terroror heck something I really need to figure out what I am going to do with all these tanks once life gets back to normal with the sealing of the 55 and killing of the 125...

We really should try and get together at some point, I'm sure I could drag Leslie out (pugperson) as well...of course how this summer has been it has been insane...heidi

Which store did you stumble across heidi, and where at? Always on the look out for quality. BTW, got about 300 mollies looking for a good home. If you decide you want a couple convicts I have plenty of those to choose from as well.

Yes, You read it right I'm getting Panda Corries

I was going to pick up this stupid computer (no I'm still not happy with it) and again saw this small LFS on the way. This time I didn't say, oh I'll come back, I did a U-Turn and came right back. It was a cute store, really packed with some unusual fishies and some normal fishies...

The owner is the President of the Houston Aquarium Society so I got to talk to him, and am finally going to join the best thing is this...I noticed these 3 little panda corries well not little, but well...and asked him how much they were, and he told me $3.99!!! I asked him "$3.99" and he said yes. I told him I wanted them but had to get them a home set up, so he is going to hold them for me I'm soooooooooo excited, the first person I called was Kittensorry, she was at work

So this time next week I should have the Pandas, where I'm going to put the tank I don't know, but I'm gonna get them

There is no leash to hold me back

I want them allall I say all of them

And hey I take full responsibility to finding this new lfs and finding the pandas What can I say they are so flipping cute and loveable who couldn't love the corries, and I'm only getting the pandas because they are such a wonderfully great price$3.99 each versus $9.99 or morewho can resist I can't wait it's ashame that the store is closed todaybut tomorrow

Pugperson, you should know by now that if you want to stop Heidi adding to her Cory collection, you need to keep her on a leash

Again, I must post a disclaimer. It is NOT my fault. I was busy with my mother and didn't even know that Heidi was getting near a lfs. ....Actually I am more than a little envious with her success with cories.

Congratulations, Heidi. Know they will be quickly spoiled with the attention you'll be giving them.

Pfft! You really think I mind that you called me at work? It was a nice break.

Good luck with your pandas. Hope you have better luck than I do. If you weren't waaaaaaay over there, I'd offer you Kanga and Roo... I don't think Pooh Bear will make it. *sigh*

Good luck to your little ones... take my advice and get at LEAST a few more... they're SO much fun in larger groups.
