Yep thats about their max size, from the behavior I've seen of them they're also among some of the more active corys, not ones I'd suggest in anything smaller than a 30 long.

Yeah, that sounds about right. In fact though, yours will probably get a little larger (if it is indeed your fish). Corydoras paleatus is one of the larger cories, and it can exceed two and a half inches in length.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

I have seen pepper corys of 4 inches, as well as cory aenus.
My female pepper cory is around 3 inches.
The male is only half that size though.

Alright, thanks for the info everyone.

The Cories I'm talking about are mine. They have been in a standard US 10 gallon since I bought them. Sometime in late February or early March, I'll be setting up a 30 gallon. The Cories will be moving into this tank as well as all of my other fish. My ADFs will remain in their 10 gallon, hopefully with a few Platy fry.

My LFS has some huge Bronze Corys, around 5-6 inches!!! They are massive!!! I am tempted to buy but tank water in larger tank isn`t excactly good at the moment and they are quite expensive considering they are only Bronze Corys

Perky, that sounds like a species of Brochis. There's Brochis splendens, and one other species at my LFS I just can't remember the name of. They have HUGE ones. About 5 inches long, and 2 inches high at their "foreheads."

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

Perky, I also have seen Bronze Cory around 5 inches in length (fins excluded). They were not brochis sp. they were corydoras aenus - I recently met the man who bred them himself, and the mommy and daddy fishes were only around 2 1/2 inches, but the progeny were immense!
He charges 9.99 each for these young pups who grow rapidly to 5 inches.

You can store some thousands of pictures on there, and then just link them to FP using the [link=Pic here]http://website link here[/link] feature. Thats how I show off my pics!
No need to be a premie to link pics!
