In fact though, yours will probably get a little larger (if it is indeed your fish). Corydoras paleatus is one of the larger cories, and it can exceed two and a half inches in length. And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

T/A Mega Fish Posts: 942 Kudos: 1796 Registered: 20-Feb-2004	Alright, thanks for the info everyone. The Cories I'm talking about are mine. They have been in a standard US 10 gallon since I bought them. Sometime in late February or early March, I'll be setting up a 30 gallon. The Cories will be moving into this tank as well as all of my other fish. My ADFs will remain in their 10 gallon, hopefully with a few Platy fry.

I am tempted to buy but tank water in larger tank isn`t excactly good at the moment and they are quite expensive considering they are only Bronze Corys

Janna Mega Fish Posts: 1386 Registered: 24-Aug-2003	Perky, that sounds like a species of Brochis. There's Brochis splendens, and one other species at my LFS I just can't remember the name of. They have HUGE ones. About 5 inches long, and 2 inches high at their "foreheads." They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes, They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver, So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

They were not brochis sp. they were corydoras aenus - I recently met the man who bred them himself, and the mommy and daddy fishes were only around 2 1/2 inches, but the progeny were immense!
