Betta23![]() Fingerling Posts: 29 Kudos: 23 Votes: 0 Registered: 07-Mar-2005 ![]() ![]() | Hi guys, I recently purchased 2 Black Kuhli Loaches, i was gonna get 4 but that was all my LFS had. Well i know a place where it sells Kuhli Loaches but only the regulr striped ones, not the "exclusive" black ones. So my question is, would i t be ok for the black and the striped to live together? Will they school and get along? thank u. |

They are different species, but closely related (both are in the genus Pangio). ![]() I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

While loaches don't school they do like company of their own kind. The color variations though don't seem to make a difference. A good site with lots of loach info & pic is [link=Loaches Online]http://www.loaches.com/species_index.html" style="COLOR: #FFCC99[/link]. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

That is a strange one ![]() I don't see any problem as everyone else has said about them playing together, the tank I bought my striped ones from (and yes I was adament about wanting striped not black ones ![]() Now that they are in the 20 gallon it's the same thing, I want to see the Khulies then I better move the driftwood, and watch them along with the me ![]() ![]() ![]() "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom."
