I have a pair of Kribs in a 20 gal planted tank. Have some brown algae probs at present..added 4 small CAEs..but they just aren't doing that great of a job. Would Kribs leave Ottos alone? The CAEs are 1 1/2" -2" and doing fine..but then they are more aggressive.

That many Algea Eaters will give you tonnes of problems when they grow - they are intolerant of their own kind and are territorial which means fights with the kribs too. The kribs will be fine with otos until they spawn, then they are aggressive to any bottom dwelling fish.

The CAEs I plan on returning when they get bigger. If they do a good job at algae, I may just keep getting small CAEs and swapping out when they get a little bigger.
