They are also great algae eaters. Personally, my experiences with these are strictly retail, but they last pretty long in the store anyways---they don't sell very well, which is a shame, because they are GORGEOUS ![]() |

He keeps his housed in a 75 gal tank, many caves, live plants, and with them are a pair of bushy nose plecos, a pair of L263, 4 L273, and a pair of undescribed species that is coal black with white tiger stripes. His Blue Phantoms are breeding in the tap water up there. I don't know the specifics, but I can tell you the ph is around 7.5-8.0, and I'll try to ask him the specifics next time I see him. As I will be going up there again in Jan, and getting some of the L263 fry from him. He is the first to breed these guys, according to Ingo. There is always a bigger fish... |

Also, he should consider restocking his tank, as those 4 titanic psuedacanths won't be able to live in there for long without stunting. Last edited by Cup_of_Lifenoodles at 10-Dec-2004 23:14 |

Some he got from Ingo, and were bred in Germany, but hopefully they will all breed for him as well. There is always a bigger fish... |

And I know of a couple other breeders here in the states that are breeding them as well. There is always a bigger fish... |

Guess PlanetCatfish is a little dated with their L200 article, where they can't even sex the fish much less breed them. That's awesome. I'd like some specifics, but there's no need for you to hurry to get them. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |
