The more pics I see of L-316 the more I'm convinced that this fish is an L-316. He's still doing great. Here is my lovely specimen - he was quite young at this pic, a mere 2.5 inches. Now he is about 3.5 inches and his spots have become many more, but still the same color. Hes a deep black pleco in base now, and has exceptionally long nasty odontodes suggesting to me he is indeed a male. I bought him for 39.99 as a poorly marked Gold Nugget Pleco. What a deal! Of the ones I don't own I'd have to say L264 (White trim chocolate chip/Sultan plec), L128 (Blue Phantom) and L200 (Green Phantom) are my favorites Of the ones I used to own my favorite is absolutely L75 the Rio de Para plec. I can upload a pic later of the one I used to have. Of the ones I currently own my favorite is probably a toss up between my L142 (Big White Spot pleco), L259 (a black plec with white to light bluish polkadots and a red trim on dorsal and caudal fins) and my Adonis pleco (does this one not have an L#?).
