These little guys amaze me more each day. I got lucky because mine are not shy at all they never hide and are always swimming around. Even wehn i come up to the tank they will swim near my face like they are saying hi!!! There little eyes glow when you turn the light on in the room and the tank light is off. I highly suggest you get some of these to any one interested in cories. They love to play with my danios its funny to see them race around the tank with these guys. I recently have 2 due to a newbie disater with meds. I cant wait to buy more and give them more buddys to play with. I just wanted to share this with anyone interested on buy cories pandas are the way to go

Congrats! As I agree these guys are one of the more attractive cories. Post some pics, especially when you get a nice school of them going.

Yes, you made a very good choice. Pandas are not only some of the most attractive cories, but they arguably have the best personality as well. Pandas are a nice pick, you're lucky you have some!

Sure, panda cories love current! Many panda owners can attest to this fact. They are big goofs, and will often participate in "current surfing". This is when a panda cory (or a group) swims up into the current output from a filter or powerhead, and just keep swimming. It is hardwired into their systems, and they enjoy doing it. It is quite fun to watch.

Azrael, check out www.azgardens.com. I've never seen pandas that inexpensive in any LFSs.

i don't know how much i trust this site after seeing what they wrote about dwarf puffers....

Dwarf Puffer Tetraodon travancorius

a.k.a. Gold Puffer, Malabar Puffer, Avenie Pufferfish

Size: up to 1", pH: neutral GH: 8, Temp: 68 - 86F, Origin: India, Asia, Burma

This is the smallest pufferfish in the world! Really really small, no kidding! Actually, full grown they are just about the size of a penny! Not to be confused with aggressive Figure 8 Puffers or Green Spotted Puffers you might see at the petstore. These are peaceful, and very beneficial in the aquarium as they eat small (we mean small) snails, mosquito and dragonfly larvae, and other aquatic bugs like, mantis shrimp and plant leeches and other micro organisms. You can supplement feed bloodworms if needed, but in a healthy planted aquarium, they'll find plenty of things to feast on thier own. They won't harm your Amano shrimp because their mouths are just too tiny. We house ours with Red Cherry shrimp, and everyone knows how small they are. Keep them in a school for best results. Yes, puffers are known to be in brackish water but these fellas are fine without the heavy salt just move them to brackish for spawning.

this is just about as wrong as it gets...
