Whereabouts in the UK are you and Wendy then, Hembo???

If you're within easy reach of the Liverpool area, I have four nice ones looking for a new home (well five now if you count the new baby!).

Congratulations Cali!!!

I've been so down and out lately I'm doing the bare minimum with the tanks right now...This weekend I'm gonna force myself to get this other ]:|filter working, do a 30-40% water change, and feed them up on the good stuff And knowing my luck I'll find tiny fry other than my 5 when i do this

again Congratulations!!!

Eeeee! Baby pandas! Cali... we need pics! When you're feeling better, please. *does a little happy dance* Baby pandas... hard to imagine, but they've got to be even cuter than the adults! *slips Pooh Bear and Eeyore into your breeding program* Somehow cartoon names just don't go with your courtesans though.

UPDATE!!!!

Today (11/05/2005) I performed the big water change and gravel vac operation on the Panda Fun Palace™ and the bveeding aquarium, which had both been left a little fallow while I was convalescing from gastric flu (yurck). And, when I cleaned out the breeding aquarium, expecting to find the baby Panda, I found THREE ...

They're 8mm long or thereabouts, and all of them have fuzzy barbels and little Panda eye patches. Whee!

I was in the chat room last night, and told everyone that I was taking a break for food, and thus rose from my armchair to make tea and an evening meal. Well, my aquaria are about 2-3 feet from my armchair and its accompanying PC (which is how I can give running commentaries on Mata Hari and the gang spawning - but that's another story) when I noticed something odd in the breeding aquarium on the lower tier of the stand underneath the Panda Fun Palace™.

There was something swimming about. I thought to myself "Surely it isn't another baby Panda?" and took a closer look. Well, yes it was!

Junior, The 3rd Generation™ (gender indeterminate at this stage) is 8 mm long, has a truly amazing set of fuzzy barbels around the mouth and a pair of Panda eye patches even at that tiny size. And, the little fellow swims like an Olympic freestyle sprint champion. It's amazing the speed that little guy can move when the urge takes a hold!

If I can borrow a friend's digital camera sometime, I'll try and add pics to my MSN Photo Album so you can all see the newcomer!

More baby Pandas! Yay!

Will try and borrow a digital camera from a friend for the purpose, save the interminable turnaround involved with film. However, I'll also need some luck on my side ... the little guy swims at an astonishing rate of knots for such a tiny fish, and capturing him stationary will probably be a test of patience and resolve worthy of St Francis of Assisi

I am so jealousI think I'll steal Leslie's Java Moss so they have a proper place to put the eggs the next time around Heck all that happens to it in her tank is her white clouds use it to lay eggs that won't hatchIt's mine now

Edit: Have stolen Leslie's java moss, like my girls care where they lay their eggs

Congrats! I wish I could have 1 baby cory. I have always had eggs but never a baby. I am thinking about setting up a species tank just for some pandas. That is soo awesome!@
