I, have been very fortunate to locate an lfs who knows a scleromystax barbatum breeder, in australia! Turns out, the breeder just brought in a batch of barbatum juveniles into the lfs.

Well, i sure couldn't help myself but purchase 4 of those lovely things, at AUD $25 each. I think they were pretty worth it, consdiering common species like sterbais were going for around 12bucks.

This lfs, is also one of the most well stocked aquarium i've come across in melbourne. In 2 weeks, i've pruchased those barbatum, one female aspidoras taurus, and dianema urostriatum and longibarbis!

Im now trying to buy a new tank, but i was sorta thinking of those square tanks that sit in the middle of the room, and can thus be viewed from all sides...any ideas into what sorta fish i should keep?

You will need to give more info for stocking questions like how big of tank you want to put them in. Anyhow, hears a web site about scleromystax barbatum. Maybe this will help you, it can't hurt.
