It seems to be healthy and is getting around the tank good. I guess you could call it an "oops" baby, it just happened but is a very good surprise. Is there anything I can do to ensure it survives? |

If it's over 8 mm in length, chances are it'll be OK depending upon what's already in there. Having raised three generations of Pandas myself, I can tell you that if he's big enough to be recognisably a Panda Catfish, then your worries are over, because Pandas take between 8 and 12 weeks to assume full adult colouration (usually works out at about 10 weeks, but I've had some take 12). I would post some links to my assorted egg and fry photos but Webshots is throwing a wobbly and won't let me access the photo album (sigh) ... great advert for their new redesigned website huh? ![]() ![]() |
