If so can you give me some info on them, are they hardy? I saw them for the first time and they are really srtiking. But before I plop down 15 bucks a piece, I wanted to know more. |

They are actually close relatives of Corydoras melanotaenia, not Corydoras aeneus. Their care is easy as they, like the majority of corys, are very hardy fish. These cories are indeed hardy, grow to a decent size by Corydoras standards, and are pretty neat looking to boot. Though they're supposedly C. aeneus variants, you'll find that breeding the laser cories is tougher than with the bronze aeneus. |
