I am not 100% sure, but IMO, I would guess not. I have not had them with cories, but I have had them with many other fish that had/laid eggs, but protected and unprotected, and they did not eat the eggs that I know of.

They could , as in they are easily physically capable, and may take a few, but they probably wont decimate them.

Thanks alot for both reply's & good news. I have an all corydoras tank with lots of Ferns & Anubias. I have some Algae & i taught about the Otocinclus, but wasn't sure....... as the corydoras, sometimes lay eggs & i don't want them to be eaten.

Thanks alot Guys.

I posted a similar question about them possibly eating ram eggs and someone replied that they might if they found them. I happen to be a fan of ottos and currently have 4 but have never had any eggs that I'm aware of. I intend to set up a tank for rams and would like for the rams to breed. I intend to try out an otto in the tank to see how it goes. Just to be safe, make sure the otto has some algae wafers/pellets routinely to keep it full. Let us know how it works out.

29g - 5 Head and Tail Light Tetras, 1 Black Phantom Tetra, 1 melanistius cory, 1 Featherfin Synodontis, 1 otto
29g - 14 harlequin rasboras, 5 albino corys, 3 ottos
10g - 1 glowlight tetra, 2 Black phantom tetras, 1 red betta on entertainment center

If i'll find some Otos, i'll buy them & try it out. The tank is planted with Ferns & Anubias & they have lots of Algae to munch on.

Thanks alot & hope you'll breed the rams.
