I have not had them with cories, but I have had them with many other fish that had/laid eggs, but protected and unprotected, and they did not eat the eggs that I know of. There is always a bigger fish... |

I happen to be a fan of ottos and currently have 4 but have never had any eggs that I'm aware of. I intend to set up a tank for rams and would like for the rams to breed. I intend to try out an otto in the tank to see how it goes. Just to be safe, make sure the otto has some algae wafers/pellets routinely to keep it full. Let us know how it works out. ![]() 29g - 5 Head and Tail Light Tetras, 1 Black Phantom Tetra, 1 melanistius cory, 1 Featherfin Synodontis, 1 otto 29g - 14 harlequin rasboras, 5 albino corys, 3 ottos 10g - 1 glowlight tetra, 2 Black phantom tetras, 1 red betta on entertainment center |

The tank is planted with Ferns & Anubias & they have lots of Algae to munch on. Thanks alot & hope you'll breed the rams. http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
