For instance, a cae will get much larger(11" than the 2-3 inch ottos, they are aggressive, as compared to the peaceful ottos, and the cae is not a schooling fish. Ottos are best when kept in groups. The bioload of three of them would equate to one CAE and they cause far less hassle... and to be honest, eat more algae. The CAE has a reputation for 'neglecting it's duties' of eating the stuff when it gets older. |
