Okay eveyone, I've had a good night's sleep after the moth trapping (continued till 2am) and now I'm ready to start editing the pics to put little arrows in pointing at the babies (because they're so hard to see!).

I'll also create a thread in Photo Booth with the still pics linked to my post in due course. Movies will be mailed once this is done.

EDIT : Pics now in Photo Booth in this thread.

I have to see this! Ive only heard about the fun cories can be, but ive never seen it

Dude, 6 pandas could go in the 10 but I wouldn't. The 10s water chemistry is so hard to maintain, and when one goes, it goes bad horribly fast...but if you insist that is all you should put in that tank...just my thoughts, heidi

I have pandas in a ten. They breed once every three months or so; a ten should not present problems in terms of water stability. Your advice (albeit good advice--it pays to be cautious) would be more applicable in a saltwater tank of similar size.

I got both still and video footage of my new Panda babies today!

Including shots of little junior #1 (or #2, or #3, whichever) sharing dinner with Mom and Dad. And amovie clip showing little Junior darting in a big arc over the top of his parents. Yay!

Cali they are so cute But, I must say they look an awful lot like my metaes Aren't babies sweet? Mind don't seem to realize all the time that there are several types of Corries in the tank, they school with the hasbrosus, and eat with the Agazzis, but when momma calls they fly to her now, and when the albinos start to playtotal chaos takes over They are simply hilarious to watch and enjoy, though my adult metaes are rather shy at times, the juveniles are as active as the Hasbrosus and albinos

Movie has now been mailed featuring a Panda baby performing a big arching 'fly past' over the parents (aw, cute) .... Recipients to date include:

and one or two names I've temporarily forgotten to copy and paste from the mailing list

If anyone else wants copies, I'm sure that the above recipients will help distribute the movie

i would love to see the pandas, we have 5 so far, including 2 babies and they are wicked.

If you catch me in the chat room later Wendy, it will be duly arranged ...

Only thing is, I'd prefer to send the mail as a block mail to several recipients instead of one at a time, because that way I only have to upload the movie once to GMail for everyone

If I have to do it individually, it'll make using the chat room later tonight a nightmare

So, everyone, queue up here ... send quick and short PMs with EMail addresses, and when I have a decent sized block of them, I'll mail you all in the one mailshot ...
