It's a relative of the Asian Bumblebee Catfish that can handle coldwater and gets 12". Did you have anything specific you wanted to know in mind? :%)

I assume that they're bagrids, then, in which case I would say watch out: they are heavily preadatory fish but fairly peacable otherwise.

Bagrids are not heavily predatory, well not all anyway!

Black Lancer (which I am lucky to own) is very peaceful and won`t eat any other fish, they are scavengers and will only eat fish if they are dead. I have never seen my Black Lancer go for any other fish whereas my Featherfin is much more aggresive than the Black Lancer.

Bagricthys are notorious for eating eggs and fry of other species, which I suppose counts as "preadatory". Otherwise, though, you're right; I hear they're VERY peaceful. Again, damn you and such for getting one, you lucky punk ;_;.

I'm with Cup. That's quite a catch... Pun intended.

I saw it on here before and as soon as I found it I wanted it, I went to LFS day after and they said they had seen 1 in 3 years and wouldn`t expect to get them in and recommended this online site, tri-mar.co.uk

I went on there and 2 weeks later they had some, for only £12!! Thats about $7 US I think

Well £12 plus £10 for the courier and then next morning it was in my tank
