I can now confirm thta I have two!! They're getting bigger and their coloration is much more like the adults. Today after feeding the tank I saw both of them out grazing with the grown ups...and holding their own in getting food. Of course they can go into the tight places where the adults can't. Anyway, how long can I expect it to take for them to be large enough to hang around with the big ones most of the time? My estimate is that they're just under 1/2 inch. In the meantime I've decided not to add a new Panda to make up for the one I lost....with the babies I don;t have to worry about acclimating them to my tank ![]() |

Don't worry about their grow rate, as long as you see them & there is no danger for them. ![]() http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

And at that point are usually around 18 to 22 millimetres in length. My former 'babies' are now miniature adults, and are around 26 mm long now. And insufferably cute. ![]() ![]() |
