I wouldn't if I were you; your 29 gallon (or was it thirty? I forget) is overstocked as is.

Dolichopterus should be handled as your usual BN: large (5"-6" ), herbivorous (for the most part), peaceful, and incredibly annoying and disruptive. Passive bottom feeders are disturbed by the robust nature of the fish, and tend to shy away from them.

Yes, they are similar to the bristlenose in care. They are beautiful fish if you can find them, and rowdy as well. I wouldn't advise keeping one with your other bristlenose, unless you make sure to keep up with water changes and gravel vacs. Otherwise, the two plecos will dirty up the tank very quickly.

According to your profile, you've already got one of these fish. Is this true? If so, it shouldn't be in a ten gallon tank. I wouldn't stick it in the other tank either, because that one is overstocked. Even if you keep the water very clean, your tank could have a meltdown rather quickly, if something goes wrong. In any case, I don't advise getting another pleco.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

I'm pretty sure that's just her proposed stock. Last time I checked her 29 gallon topic, she only had a few species in it.

It is not going in either tanks. It is going in a 20 gallon. I am getting one for $30 at my lfs, and I do not already have one I put it on there by mistake.

what sort of size is it at? sounds like a good price

how to take care of them....not much I can say...easy and hardy thing like all BN....do your water changes and algae wafers or tablets from time to time whe you don't have enough algae in your tank....and they can annoy (not up to the "attack" stage) your other peaceful bottom feeders like cories. Except that... really nothing much needs to pay attention.
