Has anyone ever heard of pleco's (common) choking on snails?? Ive gotten 2 plecos recently and both died after about 3-4 weeks.( I got one then the other) They adjusted quickly and seemed to be feeding its the only thing I can think of?? Ive never had pleco die in less than a year? PH 8.0 0am ,water change every week 25% (30 gal) 6guppy 1 Amazon, carpet of hygro, clay pots to hide in day about 11 hr light no CO2.

Nope, never heard of that happening. What size tank were they in, and do you happen to know your water parameters?

I've never heard of a Pleco, let alone any fish, choke on a snail. And even if it could happen I highly doubt it would happen 2 times in a row..
